Sprinkler Blowout Before Vacation: Plan Access Early

Book your sprinkler blowout before vacation with access in mind. Tell the office when you leave and which equipment is indoors so you can agree on a workable appointment before departure.

Arrange sprinkler blowout before vacation

Ask whether the visit can happen before you leave or whether someone else needs to provide access later. App access may help with the controller, but it does not open a locked room or reach the water supply. Check every equipment location before deciding you can be away.

Choose a contact who can help

If another person will attend, give them the appointment details and explain what they may approve. The technician needs someone who can answer questions during the visit. Share entry information through the agreed channel and only with the people who need it for that appointment.

Read the outcome while you are away

Ask how you will receive the completion notes. Check them for any equipment that could not be reached or work still needed. A message saying the technician arrived is not the final result. If something remains, agree who will handle it rather than leaving the question until you return.
