Sprinkler Blowout and Repairs: What Is Included?
Sprinkler blowout and repairs are separate jobs. If a head is broken, a zone has stopped running or you have noticed a leak, mention it before booking so the office can plan the right visit.
Discuss sprinkler blowout and repairs before booking
Describe what you saw, where it happened and when it started. A photo of a wet patch or the exact controller message is useful. You do not need to diagnose the fault. Also say whether the problem existed before closing was arranged and whether other work has happened nearby.
Approve extra work separately
Ask whether the technician is coming for closing only or also to assess a problem. If repairs are proposed, confirm the work and price before approving them. The seasonal fee should not be taken as a promise to include parts, digging or every fault discovered during the visit.
Keep unresolved problems in the notes
Ask the technician to list completed work and anything still outstanding. If a fault prevents a zone from being serviced, keep that limitation clear. A repair booked for another day is still unfinished. Share those notes with whoever arranges the follow-up or spring opening.

Questions and answers
Common questions
Will closing fix poor coverage?
Do not assume it will. Coverage problems need their own assessment.
Can repairs wait until spring?
The technician must assess whether the issue affects winter preparation before deciding.
